It’s like having a welder in the shed and having no idea how to use it.
James 1.21 suggests that we might know God’s life-giving words of truth and peace and yet have them make no difference. James encourages us to ‘receive’ the ‘implanted’ word. It’s deep. It’s near. It’s close. But yet we must receive it. Have you received God’s word?
